Annotation: A PROJECT TO AID PROFESSIONAL STAFFERS IN ATTAINING GRADUATE EDUCATION, UPGRADE AND COORDINATE INSERVICE TRAINING, AND CREATE CAREER PATHS FOR PARAPROFESSIONALS IS FOUND EFFECTIVE IN MEETING TARGETED LEVEL OF ACTIVITY.
Abstract: THIS PROJECT IS INTENDED TO IMPROVE THE GENERAL DEPARTMENTAL LEVEL OF FORMAL EDUCATION AND JOB PREPAREDNESS; IN TERMS OF THE HIGHEST LEVELS THIS MEANS EXPANDING THE NUMBER OF STAFFERS HOLDING THE MASTER OF SOCIAL WORK DEGREE, WHICH IS BEING DONE THROUGH SUPPORT OF STAFFERS, WHILE THEY ARE FULL-TIME STUDENTS AT TEMPLE UNIVERSITY'S SCHOOL OF SOCIAL SERVICE ADMINISTRATION. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PROJECT IMPROVEMENT CONCERN SUCH AREAS AS PROVIDING FEEDBACK TO THE TRAINING UNIT STAFF, CONDUCTING A THOROUGH ANALYSIS OF DEPARTMENTAL TRAINING NEEDS, DEVELOPING SPECIALIZED RESOURCES, AND CREATING A UNIFORM PERFORMANCE EVALUATION SYSTEM.
