Abstract: THE OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS MOST FREQUENTLY COUNTERFEITED INCLUDE DRIVERS' LICENSES AND PASSPORTS. THE AUTHOR POINTS OUT THAT A SPECIAL TECHNICAL OFFICE OF THE WEST GERMAN FEDERAL CRIMINAL POLICE BUREAU HAS A COLLECTION OF SAMPLE FALSIFIED DOCUMENTS. SUSPECTED COUNTERFEIT DOCUMENTS CAN BE SENT TO THAT OFFICE FOR COMPARISON AND PROMPT IDENTIFICATION AS GENUINE OR COUNTERFEIT. --IN GERMAN
