Abstract: THE TABLES REPORT PAROLE OUTCOMES ACCORDING TO SUCH FACTORS AS COMMITMENT OFFENSE, TYPE OF PRISON ADMISSION, PRIOR PRISON SENTENCES, AND ALCOHOL AND DRUG ABUSE. AMONG THE MAJOR TRENDS NOTED WERE INCREASES IN THE NUMBER OF PAROLEES WITH HISTORIES OF DRUG ABUSE, AND INCREASES IN THE NUMBER OF PAROLEES CODED AS SUCCESSES.
