ALTHOUGH SOME PERIODICALS ARE NOT INDEXED THROUGH THE LAST ISSUE OF 1975, THE FIRST SEGMENT OF THE THREE-PART 1976 CRIMINAL JUSTICE PERIODICAL INDEX WILL INCLUDE THEM. INDEXING CONSISTENCY WAS MAINTAINED THROUGH THE USE OF A CONTROLLED THESAURUS THAT WAS DEVELOPED FROM LIBRARY OF CONGRESS SUBJECT HEADINGS (WITH SUPPLEMENTS TO INCLUDE RELEVANT NEW TERMINOLOGY).
