Annotation: SUGGESTS THAT THE COUNSLEOR'S ROLE IN JUVENILE PREVENTION PROGRAMS SHOULD STRESS THE DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW VALUE SYSTEM, IMPROVEMENT OF SELF-CONCEPT, AND ENHANCEMENT OF EMPLOYMENT PROSPECTS FOR THE YOUTH.
Abstract: PARTICULAR OBJECTIVES AND TECHNIQUES RELATING TO THESE THREE AREAS OF CONCENTRATION ARE DISCUSSED. SCHOOL COUNSELORS ARE BEST STIUATED TO PROVIDE SUCH COUNSELING SERVICES BEFORE THE YOUNGSTER DRIFTS INTO DELINQUENCY.
