CALIFORNIA LAWS OF SELF-DEFENSE, CATEGORIES OF RAPE, AND VICTIM COMPENSATION ARE REVIEWED. INFORMATION ON TESTING FOR PREGNANCY AND VENEREAL DISEASE AND FOR OBTAINING ABORTIONS IS PROVIDED AS WELL AS STEPS TO BE TAKEN BY RAPE VICTIMS WHO ARE NOT PLANNING TO REPORT THE ATTACK TO POLICE.
