Annotation: DATED AUGUST 1974, THIS REPORT PROVIDES A PRELIMINARY ANALYSIS OF THE PROBLEMS OF ESTABLISHING JUVENILE GROUP RESIDENCES, AS SET FORTH BY THE THREE JUVENILE COURT DIRECTORS, IN LEWIS, MASON, AND THURSTON COUNTIES.
Abstract: THIS REPORT CONSIDERS THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A GROUP HOME FOR JUVENILES TO SERVE THE THREE COUNTIES; EXAMINES THE RESOURCES CURRENTLY AVAILABLE; AND EXPLORES CASELOAD REQUIREMENTS AND CASE FLOW FOR THE AREA. BASED ON THESE ANALYSES, THE CONSULTANTS RECOMMEND AGAINST THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A REGIONAL JUVENILE CORRECTIONAL FACILITY AND INSTEAD SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF GROUP HOME CARE FOR DELINQUENT YOUTHS IN THE THREE COUNTIES....DMC
