Annotation: REPORT, DATED AUGUST 1974, ADDRESSING THE PROBLEM FACED BY THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF WHETHER A PROPOSED SYSTEM OF COMPUTER SERVICES FOR TRIAL COURT PROCEEDINGS IS ADEQUATE AND WHETHER IT WOULD SOLVE PARTICULAR PROBLEMS.
Abstract: THIS PROJECT WAS UNDERTAKEN IN RESPONSE TO A REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO EVALUATE A COMPUTER SOFTWARE PACKAGE THAT WAS ALREADY BEING CONSIDERED, BUT WHICH SEEMED TO HAVE DRAWBACKS IN SOME RESPECTS. THE CONSULTANT TEAM CONCLUDED THAT THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF THE COURT SHOULD ADOPT A NEW APPROACH TO DEVELOPING A COURT INFORMATION SYSTEM. A SUGGESTED APPROACH IS CONTAINED IN THE APPENDIX TO THE REPORT....KAP ASSISTANCE PROJECT
