Annotation: REPORT, DATED APRIL 1973, OF A PROJECT TO ASSIST THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY IN INSTITUTING MORE EFFECTIVE OFFICE PROCEDURES.
Abstract: SPECIFICALLY, THE OBJECT OF THE CONSULTANT'S TEAM'S VISIT WAS TO ASSIST IN IMPLEMENTING STANDARDIZED OPERATING POLICIES FOR CASE PROCESSING AND RECORD KEEPING IN THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S TWO-MAN OFFICE. ALONG WITH THEIR DISCUSSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS, THE CONSULTANTS DESCRIBED THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S POSITION AND ANALYZED THE EXISTING SITUATION. RECOMMENDATIONS WERE MADE FOR REORGANIZING THE FILING SYSTEM AND PROVIDING ADEQUATE FILE SECURITY, EVALUATING THE CASE PREPARATION PROCESS, AND CONTINUING THE PRINCIPLE OF DIVIDED WORKLOAD.
