Annotation: A SUMMARY, DATED SEPTEMBER 1976, OF THE PROGRAM ACTIVITIES FROM JULY 1973 TO JUNE 1974, WHICH PROVIDED PARTICIPANTS WITH SKILLS FOR CORRECTIONS ADMINISTRATION.
Abstract: THIRTY-NINE MANAGERS WERE CHOSEN BY THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF CORRECTIONS AND THE PROJECT STAFF TO PARTICIPATE IN THE VARIOUS INTERRELATED PHASES OF THE PROJECT INCLUDING TWO TRAINING IN-RESIDENCE AND TWO ACTION LEARNING AND RESEARCH BACK-HOME PHASES. THE REPORT COVERS THE ACTIVITIES INCLUDING THE OVERALL PROJECT PLAN, STAFFING, AND EVALUATION WHICH USED FEEDBACK QUESTIONNAIRES AND REPORTS FROM PARTICIPANTS AND OBSERVERS. APPENDIXES INCLUDE SAMPLE PROGRAM BROCHURES, APPLICATIONS FOR ADMISSION, AGENDAS, A LISTING OF CONSULTANTS, THE METHODS FOR EVALUATION OF THE PROJECT, AND EVALUATIVE DATA WHICH FOUND THE PROGRAM WELL ADMINISTERED AND EFFECTIVE....TWH
