Annotation: THIS STUDY OF THE LABORATORY'S SERVICES, DATED FEBRUARY 1977, WAS CARRIED OUT FOR THE INSTITUTE OF FORENSIC SCIENCES OF THE OFFICE OF THE MEDICAL EXAMINER, WHICH SERVES 816,000 PEOPLE LIVING WITHIN 270.8 SQUARE MILES.
Abstract: THE STUDY ORIGINATED IN RESPONSE TO A REQUEST FOR AN EVALUATION OF LABORATORY FACILITIES AND PERSONNEL TO DETERMINE HOW THE INSTITUTE MIGHT EXPAND AND IMPROVE ITS QUESTIONED DOCUMENT SERVICES AND CAPABILITIES. IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THE OPERATION, IT WAS RECOMMENDED THAT MORE SPACE BE PROVIDED FOR THE WORK AREA AND THAT ANOTHER DOCUMENT EXAMINER BE HIRED....KAP
