Abstract: THE FIRST REPORT CONTAINS THE RESULTS OF A 1971 STUDY OF THE ALDERMAN'S COURTS, A SYSTEM OF LOCAL COURTS SERVING CITIES AND TOWNS IN THE STATE AND DEALING WITH TRAFFIC OFFENSES AND LOCAL ORDINANCE VIOLATIONS. THE SECOND REPORT IS AN ANALYSIS OF 1966-1971 STATE SUPREME COURT DATA. THE STATE TRIAL COURTS OF GENERAL JURISDICTION ARE EXAMINED IN THE THIRD REPORT, WHICH WAS COMPLETED IN JANUARY 1974....EB
