Abstract: THE HISTORY OF SOCIETY'S TREATMENT OF HOMOSEXUALS IS PLACED IN THE CONTEXT OF THE GAY RIGHTS MOVEMENT OF TODAY. THE PROBLEMS GAYS HAVE IN ADJUSTING TO ANTI-GAY BIAS IS EXAMINED. THERE IS ALSO INFORMATION INCLUDING INTERVIEWS WITH MEDICAL EXPERTS AND OTHERS WHO SUPPORT THE POSITION THAT HOMOSEXUALITY IS AN ILLNESS OR A BIOLOGICAL QUIRK. INTERVIEWS WITH GAYS PRESENT THE PICTURE OF HOMOSEXUALITY AS COMPLETELY NORMAL....BDS
