Annotation: THIS ARTICLE EXAMINES THE ROLE AND HANDLING OF CRIME IN OTHER NATIONS.
Abstract: IN THIS PAPER IT WAS REPORTED THE RESULTS OF A STATIC AND DYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF THE PRIMARY DIMENSIONS OF NATIONS AND THE LEVEL OF RECORDED CRIME. THIS ANALYSIS HAS RESULTED IN THE OBSERVATIONS THAT: (1) GROSS NATIONAL PRODUCT PER CAPITA WAS THE DIMENSION THAT CONTRIBUTED THE MOST TO THE EXPLANATION OF THE VARIATION IN HOMICIDE, PROPERTY, AND TOTAL CRIME RATES; AND (2)THE STATIC AND DYNAMIC ANALYSES ARE CONSISTENT IN THE LEVEL OF EXPLAINED VARIATION FOR HOMICIDE(LOW) AND PROPERTY CRIME(MODERATE) BUT ARE INCONSISTENT FOR TOTAL CRIME (MODERATE IN THE STATIC ANALYSIS BUT LOW IN THE DYNAMIC ANALYSIS).(AUTHOR ABSTRACT)....BDS
