Annotation: TWO INFORMATION-EXCHANGE FORMS ARE PRESENTED FOR INTERNATIONAL REPORTING ON PERSONS ENGAGED IN PROSTITUTION AND RELATED ACTIVITIES. THE INFORMATION WOULD BE CENTRALLY FILED AND DISSEMINATED TO POLICE.
Abstract: PROSTITUTION IS INCREASINGLY BECOMING AN INTERNATIONALLY BASED CRIME AND IT IS OFTEN ACCOMPANIED BY DRUG TRAFFIC AND THEFT. POLICE MUST COLLECT INTERNATIONAL DATA ABOUT THE MOVEMENTS OF PROSTITUTES AND PERSONS LIVING OFF THEIR EARNINGS, THE ASSOCIATES AND CRIMINAL CONTACTS OF THESE PERSONS, AND THEIR ACTIVITIES DURING THEIR STAY IN ONE OR MORE COUNTRIES. THE INFORMATION WOULD BE CENTRALLY STORED AND DISSEMINATED BY THE INTERNATIONAL POLICE CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION CENTRAL BUREAUS. THE INFORMATION-EXCHANGE FORMS PRESENTED CONSIDER (1) SUSPECTED PROSTITUTES WHO HAVE LIVED IN A COUNTRY FOR LESS THAN TWO YEARS, APPEAR TO BE IN CONTACT WITH INTERNATIONAL PROCURERS, OR ARE WIVES OR MISTRESSES OF PERSONS WHO OFTEN TRAVEL ABROAD, AND (2) PERSONS WHO ARE KNOWN TO BE LIVING OFF THE EARNINGS OF PROSTITUTES OR IN CONTACT WITH INTERNATIONAL PROCURERS OR WHO OFTEN TRAVEL ABROAD. COPIES OF THE FORMS ARE PRESENTED ALONG WITH EXCERPTS OF INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENTS ON PRIVACY. (DAG)
