THE SECOND DELINEATES SUCH ELEMENTS OF SECURITY WORK AS GATE DUTY ASSIGNMENTS, PATROL TECHNIQUES, SAFETY HAZARDS, RADIO COMMUNICATIONS, AND TELEPHONE PROCEDURES. LOCKS AND KEYS, PARKING CONTROL EMERGENCY FIRE PROCEDURES, AND ALARMS ARE ALSO EXPLAINED. THE THIRD SECTION OFFERS DATA ON NOTEBOOKS, REPORTS, REPORT WRITING, MEDICAL EMERGENCIES, AND FIRST AID. CRIMINAL LAW RELATING TO THE SECURITY OFFICER IS THEN DISCUSSED. TOPICS INCLUDE FIELD NOTES ON CUSTODIAL INTERROGATION, THE MIRANDA DECISION, COURTROOM DEMEANOR AND TESTIMONY, FIREARMS POLICY GUIDELINES, AND CRIMINAL LAW DEFINITIONS.
