Abstract: THE BIBLIOGRAPHY IS BASICALLY DIVIDED INTO GEOGRAPHIC AND TOPICAL SECTIONS. WHERE A GIVEN WORK TRANSCENDS REGIONAL BOUNDARIES, IT IS CITED IN THE APPROPRIATE TOPICAL SECTION. TOPICAL DIVISIONS RELATE TO PHILOSOPHIC, IDEOLOGIC, AND MORAL FOUNDATIONS OF TERRORISM; ANARCHY AND NIHILISM; TERRORISTS' BIOGRAPHIES; LEGAL PERSPECTIVES; TACTICS, INCLUDING ASSASSINATION, BOMBINGS, KIDNNAPPING, HOSTAGE, AND HIJACKING; AND NUCLEAR TERRORISM AND OTHER MACROTERROR POSSIBILITIES. IN ADDITION TO SELF-EXPLANATORY GEOGRAPHIC SECTIONS, INTERNATIONAL TERRORISM IS LISTED SEPARATELY AND ONE SECTION IS DEVOTED TO THE UNITED NATIONS. THE ISSUES OF COMBATTING TERRORISM ARE DEALT WITH IN TERMS OF MACROPERSPECTIVES AND MICROPERSPECTIVES. A BRIEF LIST OF LITERATURE DEALS WITH TERROR CAMPAIGNS.
