Abstract: THE COMPUTERIZED DATA RELATE TO THE NUMBER OF INDIVIDUALS UNDER PROBATIONARY SUPERVISION ON DECEMBER 31, 1977 BY STATE; THE NUMBER OF PROBATION AND PAROLE CASES ON DECEMBER 31 ACCORDING TO REASON FOR PROBATION PLACEMENT AND STATE; DISCONTINUED CASES OF PROBATIONARY SUPERVISION LISTED ACCORDING TO REASONS FOR PLACEMENT ON PROBATION OR PAROLE AND FOR DISCONTINUATION; AND INDIVIDUALS PLACED ON PROBATION OR PAROLE ACCORDING TO GENERAL CRIMINAL LAWS AND ACCORDING TO JUVENILE LAWS.
