Annotation: THIS ANNUAL REPORT SHHOWS THAT IN 1977 THE MASSACHUSETTS PAROLE BOARD ISSUED 2,139 PAROLE PERMITS; TERMINATED 103; DISCHARGED 1,065 PAROLEES, AND ISSUED 654 WARRANTS, WITHDREW 234, AND SERVED 340.
Abstract: OF THE PAROLE PERMITS ISSUED, 29.1 PERCENT WERE AT STATE INSTITUTIONS, 20.8 PERCENT AT PRERELEASE CENTERS, AND 50.1 PERCENT AT COUNTY HOUSES OF CORRECTION. THE 22 TABLES IN THIS STATISTICAL ANALYSIS GIVE THE COUNTY IN WHICH RELEASE OCCURRED; NUMBER OF RELEASE PERMITS, AND WARRANTS BY MONTH; AND PAROLE DATA BY INSTITUTION. A BRIEF SUMMARY ACCOMPANIES THE TABULAR DATA.
