TIPS ARE GIVEN FOR FOLLOWING SUSPECTS ON FOOT OR IN A VEHICLE, STOPPING SUSPECTS, QUESTIONING SUSPECTS BOTH ON THE STREET AND AT THE POLICE STATION, AND AUGMENTING STREET WORK WITH COMPUTER CHECKS AND OTHER AIDS. ALSO PROVIDED ARE SUGGESTIONS ON DISGUISES, ADOPTING A MANNER WHICH WILL ALLAY THE CRIMINAL'S SUSPICIONS, AND DEVELOPING STREET SENSE. THE SECTION ON SEARCHES COVERS BOTH INITIAL STREET SEARCHES AND SEARCHES OF THE PREMISES. THE FINAL CHAPTER IS AN INDEPTH INTERVIEW WITH A SUCCESSFUL BURGLAR WHICH DETAILS HIS THINKING AND METHODS OF OPERATION.
