Annotation: THE ACTIVITIES OF THE OHIO DIVISION OF PAROLE AND COMMUNITY SERVICES ARE REPORTED FOR FISCAL YEAR 1979.
Abstract: THE DIVISION IS PART OF THE DEPARTMENT OF REHABILITATION AND CORRECTION AND IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF COMMUNITY-ORIENTED CORRECTIONAL PROGRAMS AND SERVICES. IN FISCAL YEAR, 1979, 18,000 PERSONS WERE ASSISTED BY THE DIVISION'S REHABILITATION SERVICES THE REPORT INCLUDES INFORMATION ON ORGANIZATION, THE BUDGET, PERSONNEL, FEDERAL GRANTS, TRAINING FOR EMPLOYEES, AND ON THE BUREAUS OF THE ADULT PAROLE AUTHORITY, COMMUNITY SERVICES, AND ADULT DETENTION FACILITIES AND SERVICES. APPENDIXES PROVIDE PAROLE DATA AND INFORMATION ON THE SIZES OF PRISON POPULATIONS. GRAPHS, TABLES, AND A MAP ARE INCLUDED.
