The bibliography is organized by subject, ranging alphabetically from 'Accidents' to 'Zebra Homicides'. The 'Gun Control Debate' topic is split into two subdivisions: a general listing and one by year from 1930 to 1980. The general subsection contains both current and earlier essays, whose arguments in defense of the second amendment are well developed in-depth analyses and are valued as research classics. Within each topical section the literature is entered alphabetically by title and contains pertinent bibliographic information.
