Annotation: Recommended as a training film in decisionmaking for parole agents, this film shows a series of scenes from the life of a parole agent of the California State Department of Corrections.
Abstract: Depicted are the many and varied crises which he faces on a regular basis. These include an interview with an irate mother demanding the release of her son. In addition, the parole officer visits a young parolee who has again resorted to drugs and a husband who has beaten his nagging wife. The parole officer's problems are compounded with his obligations to his own family. (Author abstract modified)
