Annotation: This document highlights the activities of and presents statistical data on the District of Columbia courts for the year 1980.
Abstract: Information is presented for the District of Columbia Court of Appeals and the Superior Court. Specific tables and graphs show data for the latter court concerning general statistics, the criminal division, the civil division, family division, tax division, and the auditor-master division. Also included are statistics about the probate division, social services division, and the marriage bureau. Tables present data about the financial operations division, such as the amount of receipts and disbursements, cash revenue, and grants awarded. In addition, the court reporter division is represented by tables indicating comparisons of transcript production from audio tapes and by court reporters. An appendix provides juvenile statistical data for 1979.
