Annotation: The report presents the activities and accomplishments of the Texas Department of Public Safety for the 1978-79 bienniun and the 1980 calendar year.
Abstract: The report discusses the department's organizational structure, funding, and activities of the three main divisions: traffic law enforcement, criminal law enforcement, and administration. Photographs, tables, and three charts are included. Legislative appropriations from 1935 to 1981, uniformed personnel data, and a delineation of the department's organizational structure are appended. Tables and graphs are included.
