Annotation: This 1980-81 statistical summary of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department presents relevant data in tabular and graphic form pertaining to arrests, offenses, personnel, field operations, traffic enforcement, technical service, work loads, and court services.
Abstract: The report includes an organization map, geographic maps, and detailed statistics covering (1) adults and juveniles arrested by charge, sex, and age; (2) arson offenses; (3) case assignments; (4) Part I offenses cleared; (5) stolen and recovered property; and (6) traffic accidents and enforcement. The data are classified by field operations divisions. Additional information is supplied for the administrative, technical service, custody, detective, and court service divisions. An index is included.
