A highlight of the year involved continued work on the communications and computer project. The computer system, based on a Tandem Non-Stop II computer, will be one of the most sophisticated systems in the country giving instant access to stored information from terminals throughout the force area. Data tables illustrate departmental activities and traffic offenses and include information on police personnel. Maps, photographs, and graphs are supplied. |
