Three laws are detailed: Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act. Title VII is the major law prohibiting employment discrimination. Participants break up into small groups and discuss the details of these three laws with workshop trainers. |
