Annotation: In 1981, Index crimes decreased from the total of the previous year. All Index crime categories, with the exception of rape, decreased in 1981, with the largest percentage decreases in murder and motor vehicle theft.
Abstract: Data tables and graphs present statistics on offenses, arrests, and those arrested. They include value of property stolen; drug abuse arrests; and sex, age, and race of adults and juveniles arrested.
