Annotation: This report summarizes narcotic enforcement activities throughout Alaska during 1981 and reflects arrests and sizures by special narcotic enforcement units and by all other police officers and troopers in the State.
Abstract: Troopers received increased funding for drug enforcement during the year and used these funds to expand enforcement efforts statewide rather than limit efforts to Fairbanks, Anchorage, and Juneau. Statistical tables show the number of drug arrests for drug sales and possession by region and statewide. Also illustrated are the value of drugs seized and Department of Public Safety Laboratory test activity for 1980-81.
