Annotation: Presented is the transcript of testimony provided at hearings (April 6 and 7, 1977) before the Subcommittee on Child and Human Development of the Committee on Human Relations of the United States Senate on Extension of the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (Public Law 93-247).
Abstract: Statements are included of individuals representing such organizations as the National Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect, New York City Child Welfare Services, Parents Anonymous, National Committee for Prevention of Child Abuse, and National Association of Social Workers. Appended are additional statements from such organizations as the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Humane Association.
