Annotation: This document presents the budgets and operating plans through fiscal year 1990 for the agencies and subunits making up Maryland's Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.
Abstract: Included are reports from the Maryland State Police, Maryland Emergency Management and Civil Defense Agency, Data Services Division, Police Training Commission, and Correctional Training Commission. Reports are also provided from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, Inmate Grievance Commission, Maryland Commission on Correctional Standards, State Fire Marshal's Office, and State Fire Prevention Commission. Also included are reports from the Division of Correction, Maryland Parole Commission, Divisions of Parole and Probation, and Patuxent Institution. Other reports cover the six main functional areas of the Office of the Secretary of the Department. Descriptions of each agency's responsibilities, main programs, plans, and funding requests are included. Charts and data tables are supplied.
