Abstract
Prepared by the Administrative Office of the Courts, this report presents comprehensive statistical information on the Arkansas Judiciary or State court system for calendar year 2004. The report is divided into four main sections that include appellate courts, general jurisdiction courts, limited jurisdiction courts, and other courts, such as Court Interpreters Program and Spanish interpretation in both circuit and district court. Within the section on the appellate courts, information is presented on the Supreme Court caseload, petition, written opinions, disposition summary, and time study activities for 2002. In addition, information specific to the court of appeals is presented in the areas of caseload activity, petition activity, written opinions, disposition summary, and time study. Under the section of general jurisdiction courts the information varies on caseloads, case procession, case dispositions, in the areas of circuit, civil, domestic relations, probate, and juvenile courts. Information on those courts with limited jurisdiction include district and city. The report concludes with information specific to the Court Interpreters Program, and Spanish Interpretation in circuit and district court. Tables
