Abstract
INTERAGENCY AND INTERDISCIPLINARY COOPERATION BETWEEN POLICE AND SOCIAL WORKERS WAS REGARDED SO HIGHLY IN ILLINOIS THAT, FOLLOWING THE EXPERIMENTAL PERIOD, THE ARRANGEMENT WAS MADE PERMANENT. THIS ARTICLE POINTS UP THE ADVANTAGES OF SUCH COOPERATION.
