LIST OF PUBLICATIONS ON THE COURTS, COURT ADMINISTRATION, JUDGES AND JUDICIAL CONDUCT, AND THE ADMINISTRATION OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE.
Abstract
THIS BIBLIOGRAPHY COVERS THOSE AREAS OF THE BROAD SPECTRUM OF THE ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE WHICH WERE SPECIFICALLY ENUMERATED FOR DISCUSSION AT THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON THE JUDICIARY, HELD IN WILLIAMSBURG, VIRGINIA, MARCH 11-14, 1971. BECAUSE IT WAS DECIDED AT THE OUTSET THAT AN ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY OF FEWER ITEMS WAS PREFERABLE TO A LENGTHIER UNANNOTATED LISTING, THE ITEMS ARE HIGHLY SELECTIVE AND REPRESENT ONLY A SMALL NUMBER OF AVAILABLE WRITINGS WITHIN EACH SECTION. ENTRIES WERE CHOSEN MORE FOR THEIR NATIONAL RATHER THAN LOCAL IMPORT, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF I B, SELECTED COURT SURVEYS, AND THOSE IN SECTION II, COURT ADMINISTRATION WHICH DESCRIBE MECHANICAL DEVICES USED IN PARTICULAR COURTS. ALTHOUGH A FEW CLASSICS ARE INCLUDED, SELECTION WAS MADE FROM ITEMS PUBLISHED BETWEEN 1961 AND 1971.
