  Abstract: This issue details the following: a month-long national media campaign launched as part of its Project Safe Childhood (PSC) initiative to combat the online exploitation of children; OJJDP’s Court Coordination Program (CCP) to address challenges that many judges face in ensuring that children with multiple needs receive treatment and services from multiple agencies; a listing of OJJDP FY 2008 grant awards, including more than $391 million to help at-risk youth, more than $124 million awards for States and territories to implement a range of programs that support safe communities, more than $71 million to help develop and enhance the capacity of communities to provide mentoring services to at-risk youth and support anti-gang strategies nationwide, and more than $17 million in grants to State and local law enforcement agencies under its Internet Crimes Against Children task force program; an announcement for the upcoming public release of more than a decade of data from the agency’s sponsored juvenile corrections data collections at the American Society of Criminology’s annual conference in November; an article on OJJDP’s performance measures Web page; an announcement for an OJJDP hosted orientation session for new Tribal Youth Program and Tribal Juvenile Accountability Discretionary Grant Program grantees in November; a list of new publications; an announcement regarding the December Winter Quarterly Meeting for the Coordinating Council on Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (Council); and an update regarding the Federal Advisory Committee on Juvenile Justice fall meeting held in October.
