  Annotation: This report describes the implementation of the Project Safe Neighborhoods Winston-Salem Intelligent-Led Policing Initiative.
  Abstract: The Winston-Salem Intelligent-Led Policing Initiative was a collaborative effort aimed at creating systemic change in the way the police department and community address and reduce crime. The initiative included members from the Winston-Salem Police Department, the Winston-Salem community, and the Center for Community Safety at Winston-Salem State University. The objectives of the project were to “enhance proactive, crime-focused, problem-oriented performance measurements and accountability process; explore the use of various technologies, techniques, and equipment to enhance the ability of WSPD to provide effective services; enhance the use of analytical, statistical, and content data throughout the department; and improve internal and external police department communication and coordination.” This report provides information on the development of the team and how it would work, the proposed project timeline including goals and milestones, and strategies for implementing the initiative.
