The goal of CSOM is to enhance public safety by preventing further victimization through improving the management of adult and juvenile sex offenders who are in the community. The CSOM website contains publications, FAQ, training curricula and other resources to help those who are responsible for managing this community.

Office of Sex Offender Sentencing, Monitoring, Apprehending, Registering, and Tracking (SMART)
The responsibilities of the SMART Office include providing states with guidance regarding the implementation of the Adam Walsh Act and providing technical assistance to the states, territories, Indian tribes, local governments, and to public and private organizations. The SMART Office also develops the SMART Watch Newsletter, which highlights activities, resources, funding opportunities, and upcoming events related to sex offenders.
PREA 101 for Community Corrections
This webinar, hosted by the National Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) Resource Center, looked at how agencies are doing as they work to meet the PREA standards, provided resources, and discussed how agencies can continue to move forward with standard implementation.
