Landmarks In Victims' Rights And Services

CRIME VICTIMS' RIGHTS IN AMERICA: AN HISTORICAL OVERVIEW

The incredible accomplishments, struggles and victories of the past three decades of America's victims' rights discipline are incorporated into this impressive document, which was originally contributed to the Resource Guide by the National Center for Victims of Crime (formerly the National Victim Center). These landmark achievements are highlighted in Crime Victims' Rights in America: An Historical Overview, which can be reproduced as a document on its own, or incorporated into speeches, brochures and other public out-reach activities sponsored during NCVRW and throughout the year.

VICTIMS' RIGHTS CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS

The Victims' Rights Constitutional Amendments materials contain a brief history of efforts to enact federal and state crime victims' rights constitutional amendments, along with a summary of states that have amended their constitutions to guarantee an array of rights for victims.
