In this paper we describe and interpret a contemporary movement to legitimate as a social problem crime by the elderly in America.
Abstract
The movement draws support from productions by mass media, academic scholars, and criminal justice agencies and experts. In addition to an analysis we offer a theoretical interpretation of the movement, placing it within the social constructionist perspective. (Publisher abstract)
