The TRC will provide complete and objective administrative review of the performance measurement standards for probationary officers whose performance levels are not up to minimum acceptable standards. The review will consider the degree of training provided, training personnel compliance with program guidelines and standards, and the validity of the low performance ratings. On the basis of these reviews, the committee will recommend the most appropriate course of action to the chief of police for approval and implementation. A sample performance review questionnaire identifies typical areas to be evaluated by the committee.
