Large or small, any theft or discrepancy discovered in the Sun Company's worldwide operations is reported and quickly analyzed by the security department's computerized loss incident reporting system.
Abstract
The loss incident file is a fully cross-referenced listing of every security incident reported by Sun employees. Information on a one-page report form is entered into the reporting system and filed by a series of identifiers and indicators. This permits tracking by incident descriptions, facility, State, or amount of loss. A consultant file contains information on how a security consulting contract proceeded, the consultant's qualifications and specialization, the quality of work performed, costs, and related information. The project file contains a record of all completed and ongoing security operations, ranging from proposed training sessions to completed audit reports. Photographs.
