Information may include previous field contacts, prior reports of runaway or abuse, dates, charges, and source of information. This compendium of information from a variety of sources can be left whole or dissected into its component parts by the crime analyst. Entries from different sources provide a chronological history of a particular juvenile offender that can prove useful for investigation, prosecution, sentencing, and treatment.
