This handbook details the rules, procedures, and regulations governing the behavior of prisoners detained at the Bucks County Correctional Facility (Pennsylvania).
Abstract
The handbook for prisoners provides specific information on prison policies and inmate rights and privileges. Prison security procedures and regulations are explained, and inmate services are enumerated. Inmate services include information on legal representation; counseling, medical and mental health services; drug and alcohol treatment services; library and educational services; and visitation procedures. Inmates are given information on procedures governing mail, religious activities, recreation, and personal hygiene. The activities of the rehabilitation center and the inmate work program are also discussed. The handbook notes that the rules and regulations listed do not cover all situations that may arise and may be changed. The handbook says that prisoners will be duly notified of any changes in rules, policies, and procedures.
