These two volumes present a bibliography of technical literature on cocaine, including 1,128 selected, non-annotated references representative of the literature from 1855 to 1949 and 4,055 annotated citations covering international scientific publications from 1950 through 1986.
Abstract
An introductory section provides a perspective on cocaine, including its history, forms, isolation and structural aspects, stereochemistry, metabolites and their detection, and constituents of coca. The bibliographic entries are arranged alphabetically by author. The author index and an extensive, cross-referenced subject index are contained in the second volume. The bibliography references more than 1,050 technical journals and is designed as a reference tool for researchers and others with an interest in drug abuse.
