Abstract
This first-person account tells how a nurse became aware of the drug problem among her fellow nurses and unwittingly became embroiled in the drug traffic in a large city hospital. The book details her experience and those of other nurses who took drugs to combat fatigue, overwork, and depression, often with the knowledge and collusion of drug-addicted doctors. The author points out that drug abuse among health professionals is a serious problem in America.
