Guidelines for disease control, risk reduction, and education are included in a prevention category. AIDS-related public health initiatives at the Federal, State, and local level make up a general public policy section. Finally, a section on legal and ethical issues addresses physician liability, confidentiality questions, treatment dilemmas, conditions of releasing medical records and test results, and considerations for AIDS research.
