Abstract
This kit contains a handbook and computer diskettes from the National Institute of Justice Drugs and Crime-ROM Library. The diskettes contain 328 documents and 30,000 pages of information, dated between 1970 and 1990, covering drug- and crime-related information targeted towards legislators, law enforcement, justice and health officials, policymakers, researchers, librarians, lawyers and doctors, employers and managers, teachers and students. The data files include an abstract data file, a dataset file, an image file, and a text file. The software allows the user to retrieve information quickly; display, extract, or print text, graphics, and data; and use an electronic note pad for later reference. This handbook specifically covers installation, keyboard and function keys, searches, outputs, and troubleshooting.
