This booklet gives sensible ideas to help parents prevent child molestation and abduction and lists public and private agencies that can help when a child becomes a victim of these crimes.
Abstract
The suggestions are intended to help parents protect young children, particularly when children start school, to help parents know what to do if their child disappears, and to help child victims of sexual assault and molestation. Appendixes contain phone numbers by Illinois city and town that can be called to report a missing child or a child needing help and phone numbers of sexual assault centers funded through the Illinois Coalition Against Sexual Assault.
