Methadone buses supply oral methadone to registered clients, exchange old syringes and needles for new ones, and supply condoms. Family doctors supply oral methadone to registered clients, give physical checkups, and refer clients to cure programs. Neighborhood centers supply oral methadone, urinalysis, syringe exchange, condoms, physical checkups, psycho-social treatment, AIDS prevention, and referrals to cure programs. A client seeking further treatment would usually be referred to the Consultancy Bureau of Alcohol and Drugs (CAD), which is part of the Jellinek Center.
